DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Designated Safeguarding Lead (with responsibility for attendance).  The successful candidate will work closely with students and will ensure robust management within all areas of safeguarding practice as well as ensuring that all staff are trained and embed the learning from their training into their daily practice.  As the DSL, you will also liaise with external agencies, debrief staff, deliver training programmes, attend regular meetings, disseminate information and provide updates and plan future training requirements.  The successful candidate will also have responsibility for all aspects of attendance within the school.
